I used this book (probably the first edition) when I was a doctoral student in the 80’s. I see that it is still available. To this day I am grateful for this book! It was instrumental in my completing my dissertation and receiving my PhD. Later on in my teaching or graduate students in nursing, I often recommended it to my students. For any doctoral student out there struggling with research design, this may be just the book you need.
